Welcome to BetFrontier.com. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our sports betting platform, website, and mobile services. By registering an account, you enter into a legally binding agreement governed by the laws of Australia.

1. Account Eligibility & Registration

To open a betting account with BetFrontier, you must meet strict eligibility criteria required by Australian law.

  1. Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age. Underage gambling is a criminal offense.
  2. Jurisdiction: You must be a resident of Australia and placing bets from within Australian borders. We do not accept registrations from restricted jurisdictions.
  3. Identity Verification: Under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006, you are required to verify your identity within 72 hours of opening an account, or before your first withdrawal, whichever comes first.
  4. Single Account Policy: Customers are permitted to open only one (1) account. Duplicate accounts will be closed, and associated bets may be voided.

Account Suspension

Failure to provide adequate identification documents within the legally mandated timeframe will result in immediate suspension of your account and freezing of all funds until verification is successfully completed.

2. Deposits and Withdrawals

All financial transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD). BetFrontier is not a financial institution and no interest is paid on account balances.

  1. Funding: You may only deposit funds using payment methods registered in your own name. Third-party deposits are strictly prohibited.
  2. Turnover Requirement: To comply with AML regulations, all deposited funds must be turned over (wagered) at least once before a withdrawal can be requested.
  3. Withdrawal Processing: Withdrawals will only be paid directly to an Australian bank account bearing the identical name to the registered BetFrontier account holder.

3. Placement and Settlement of Bets

By placing a bet, you confirm that you fully understand the specific rules applicable to the relevant sports market.

  1. Bet Acceptance: A bet is only considered valid once a transaction ID is generated and it appears in your "Pending Bets" history.
  2. Palpable Errors: BetFrontier reserves the right to void any bet placed on obviously incorrect odds (a "Palpable Error") due to technical glitches or human error.
  3. Settlement: Bets are settled based on the official results declared by the respective governing sporting body (e.g., AFL, NRL, Cricket Australia) immediately following the conclusion of the event.

4. Responsible Gambling

BetFrontier is dedicated to promoting safe gambling practices across Australia.

  1. Deposit Limits: You have the right to set pre-commitment deposit limits on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Decreases to limits apply immediately.
  2. Self-Exclusion: If you feel your gambling is becoming a problem, you may self-exclude from our platform permanently or temporarily. Once enacted, a self-exclusion cannot be reversed prior to the agreed expiry date.
